Four Seasons Maui at Wailea and Tips for Spending Less.

This magnificent hotel on the island of Maui is by far the best property on the island.  Tucked away at the south end of Wailea beach, the Four Seasons is a magical getaway for all.  Yes I know it is not the cheapest resort on the island but it is worth it for that special occasion.
First of all if you have an affinity for infinity pools you will fall in the love with their adult pool, aptly named the Serenity Pool.
Isn't she a beauty?  This photo doesn't do the pool justice nor can you see the swim up bar.  That you'll have to see in person yourself, trust me.
All things divine are here at this resort.  The perfect beach walk is right in front of this property with stunning ocean views and friendly visitors walking or jogging  about.

This destination is for pure relaxation.  Maui doesn't have much of night life and after all, all that fun in the sun and a few Mai Tai's at the pool bar you'll be too pooped anyway.  A few must do's at the resort are:  #1  Relax  #2  I know it's expensive but relax anyway.  #3  Dine at Ferraro's or at least have a drink or three at their bar, it's gorgeous!  #4  If you like spicy tuna have the Spicy Tuna Cone's at Spago they are insatiable!  #5  Use there FREE amenities like FREE tennis court usage and rackets are available.  FREE use of a Kindle from the lobby concierge.  FREE wifi in their game room.  Also to save a few bucks walk next door for breakfast lunch or dinner at the Wailea Shops.  The most money saving tip I can offer would be to stop at Costco right next to the airport prior to arriving at the resort and buy things you may use a lot like bottled water and Grey Goose.  ;-)  and of course the calm beach in front of the property is FREE.

One pool tip I always tell my friends is, if you don't like the bureaucracy of waiting for lounge chairs at the Serenity Pool, go early and snag these comfortable chairs with what I think is the best view.
Lastly I will leave you with my favorite cocktail at the Four Seasons Wailea.  Besides the occasional Mai Tai at the pool...

you must try the Green Tea Cucumber martini at the lobby bar!  It goes perfectly with a sunset. Cheers!
